Bali 9.
Bali 9 Opinion Piece.
As a young child my family warned me that two wrongs never made a right, the execution of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran were executed not long ago because they were smuggling drugs, why is it that two people got caught and got executed for smuggling drugs when there is lots of people in this world who are currently smuggling drugs as we speak, Chan and Sukumaran's death might save some other teenager from making the same mistake? you see little kids smuggling drugs into country’s would you kill them because they were smuggling drugs kids as young as 1 or 2? you don’t see them getting executed, we have executed two people out of millions what are we going to do with the rest? Drug smuggling will continue and those who roped Chan and Sukumaran into their drug ring are still free to watch someone place a sticker over their hearts, in the dead of night, before a line-up of Indonesian police officers take aim, and shoot them dead. Perhaps they'll also watch the television, and see the tormented look in the eyes of Chan and Sukumaran's parents who will be told when their children have just 72 hours to live.
